Description

Additional T’s & C’s and points to note:

BP Camp runs off-grid and all electricity is primarily solar generated and not guaranteed to be on 24 hours of the day. In the early hours of the morning and on rainy and overcast days the PV Solar system batteries can be depleted and if power is required when they are depleted, the BP Camp generator is available to supply electricity on demand.

When and where the clients/patrons require a constant supply of electricity, it is the client/patron’s responsibility to liaise with the Camp Warden to arrange and make provision for the generator fuel required to run the generator to meet the power required for their specific task/needs.

After sunset or during overcast/rainy days, the diesel used to meet the client/patron’s requirement is for their account. The generator requires 2 to 3 litres per hour to run. All hot water for kitchen/wash-up areas, bathrooms and showers are supplied via gas driven geysers.

**NB – There is no refuse service to/at BP Scout Camp. Therefore, ALL REFUSE generated by patrons is to be removed from BP Camp and the Burman Bush Reserve, by the client/patrons.
